Ashore near Felixstowe

'Jennifer Jane' is a 2 berth fishing vessel. GRP hull and wooden wheelhouse. She has some deep rot in the woodwork of the cabin roof and decks underneath the grp. Her keel and hull grp is actually in pretty good condition, she is completely watertight .

The engine is an old BMC 1500 Cc  Polar diesel inboard with forward and reverse gear box to a single prop, which is reported to run very well.

She is a fishing boat with cabin berths for 2, a gulley and wheel house.  Draft is of about 1.2 meters, beam is 2.5 meters and length 7 meters, about 1800 -2000 kgs of displacement.  She has a centre keel with 2 small fin keels to allow for a dry out mooring.

She has spent the past 13 winters on the hard standing, and has a swing mooring for the summer. Instrument-wise, she comes with a depth guage, chart plotter, auto bilge, and 3 reasonable new 12-volt batteries that have solar charging. In addition she comes with fenders, anchor and chain.

The current owner was hoping to be able to tackle the wood rot himself and put her back to sea, but unfortunately  some health issues made this no longer possible.
