Ashore in Milford Haven

The Macwester Wight Mk2 is a twin keel, center cockpit ketch rigger. She was built in the 1970's and has been in and out of use until earlier this decade. Although this model of boat is on the rarer side, the Macwester's owners Association is still a strong and friendly community.

This boat in particular was used as a liveaboard for a large part of its life, but has been unused when the owner changed location and was moved to the hard. Unfortunately in this time, water has made her way in. Despite this, she is reported have some useful updates such as a New Beta 35 engine, with a bronze 3-blade prop, and 103L Tektank. She also comes with a diesel heater.

Her standing rigging we have been told to have been replaced in 2022, with thicker, stronger wire than factory for additional security. the headsail is rigged to furl. She has a spray-hood/bimini that's designed to link the front and rear coachroof, made with 1-inch Stainless tube; however it is reported to have a small hole in the port window. She still has her sails, and all her original upholstery.

Please note if no interest is shown in the near future, she will be moved towards scrapping
