This tidy Moody 27 has been owned since 1991 by the present owner and is reported to have been cherished and well maintained during this time.

She was damaged while in storage at a marina. The starboard keel impacted and seriously damaged the hull structure; it is not known how it happened.

The necessary jobs would include but are not limited to:
- Gaining access to the starboard side bilge keel, removing the water tank and galley cabinetry
- Structural glass fibre repairs to the inside of the craft where the damage is evident under the sink
- Treating delamination on the starboard keel matrix from the inside and the outside of the craft (with the keel dropped, of course)

The repairs have been quoted by specialists at £6,800 plus VAT, which makes it not really an option for the current owner. Other than this damage, the boat is reported to be in very good working order, with well-maintained standing rigging, mast, and a strong Volvo engine.

She is now being offered as a project boat for a keen enthusiast. The owner would appreciate offers for her much-loved boat which, if not for age and infirmity, she would certainly have had repaired and continued to enjoy for many years to come.
