Wayfarer Dinghy
Ashore just outside Edinburgh
About her
This Wayfarer has just found herself at retirement age for use by sailors at Edinburgh University, but that doesn't mean she is not ready for more fun on the water! She is of GRP construction, with wooden inboard seats for the crew. Wayfarers are a staple for dinghy clubs UK-wide; used for cruising/day boats as well as club racing. Although this one is probably less suited, there is also a strong national fleet that has various TTs as well as national events.
Sails and equipment
She comes with a main and jib, however these are reported to be in poorer condition; a couple of small holes in the main, and a larger rip in the jib. There is a storage tank, however it is reported to be leaking. This boat has a trolley, but no trailer.
