'Maxima Culpa' Harrier Dinghy

Ashore near Bosham, West Sussex

About her

‘Maxima Culpa’ is a classic Harrier single-handed dinghy looking for a new owner to bring her back to her full potential. Her current owner describes her as very stable on the water and an absolute joy to sail; she would make a fantastic short project for any sailor looking for a rewarding winter restoration.

Condition

The pictures accompanying this listing are several years old, but the boat is believed to be in good condition. The GRP hull is reportedly sound, although the fibreglass paint is peeling in some areas, most notably the foredeck. The boat will require a complete rubbing down and a fresh repaint.

Onboard equipment

  • Varnished centreboard
  • Tiller
  • Steel mast with rigging stays
  • Steel boom with main sail attached
  • Pair of inflatable buoyancy bags (condition unknown due to age)

Location and collection

‘Maxima Culpa’ is currently ashore in a private garden and must be collected promptly. There is no trailer included. Please ensure you have the appropriate trailer or vehicle to safely remove and transport the dinghy.
